Accessing Facebook prospecting

You'll see in the list:

  • Facebook groups you imported
  • Facebook posts you added


💡 Important: Groups and posts appear in the same place in the list. The "Type" column** lets you identify whether it's a Group or Post.

Step 1: Select a message


During configuration, you must choose the message to send.


📝 Two options


Option 1: Select existing message

  • Choose from your saved messages
  • Use an already tested template


Option 2: Create new message

  • Click "Create new message"
  • Write your message directly


💬 Send format


Message will be sent in a Messenger conversation thread.


✨ Available personalization


On Facebook, the detected first name can be used to personalize the message.


Example:

Hello {firstname}, I saw you're part of the group...


First name will be automatically replaced when sending.

Selected volume corresponds to number of people targeted in this campaign.

Example:

  • You configure a campaign with volume = 50
  • This means: 50 people from THIS group or THIS post will be contacted
  • Your global quota depends on your Novalya subscription


⚠️ Configured volume vs actual profiles


Configured volume is a maximum target, not a guarantee.


If your filters are too restrictive (gender + strict keywords), actual number of found profiles may be lower than configured volume.


Concrete example:

  • You configure volume of 50
  • You enable Male filter + keyword "CEO" + keyword "Paris"
  • Scan finds only 23 matching profiles
  • Campaign will send 23 messages (not 50)


💡 Tip: Start with broad filters, then refine progressively if needed.



⏱️ Time intervals


Choose message sending pace with this Facebook prospecting tool:

🔒 Boost mode limitation


Important: Boost mode is limited to 20 sends maximum** per campaign.


If you configure volume greater than 20 with Boost mode:

  • Boost mode is automatically disabled
  • Mode switches to "Efficient"


This limitation protects your account against restrictions.


⚠️ Important: Respecting Meta rules


Novalya doesn't bypass any Meta limitation.


This tool to automate Facebook messages allows automating actions you could do manually, but Meta's rules and limits always apply.


Respecting these rules depends on:

  • Your account quality and age
  • Your message content
  • Your prospect targeting
  • Your activity history

Step 3: Targeting filters


👤 Gender filter


Available for all Facebook sources (groups and posts).


Available options:

  • Male
  • Female
  • Both (no filter)


⚠️ Accuracy: This filtering relies on data available on Facebook. Slight margin of error is possible (5-10%).



🔍 Keyword filter (groups only)


Availability: Only for Facebook groups** (not for posts).


How does it work?


Novalya analyzes visible information under group members' names, for example:

  • Profession
  • Company
  • University
  • Location
  • Job title


📝 Keyword examples


Inclusion keywords:

  • CEO
  • Entrepreneur
  • Marketing
  • Paris
  • Consultant


Exclusion keywords (negative):

  • Student
  • Retired
  • Job seeking


💡 Advanced usage


You can:

  • Include keywords (positive filter)
  • Exclude certain keywords (negative filter)
  • Combine both for precise targeting


Combination example:

  • Include: "CEO, Entrepreneur, Founder"
  • Exclude: "Student, Seeking, Junior"

👍 Interaction targeting (posts only)


Availability: Only for Facebook posts** (not for groups).


For posts, you must choose the interaction type to target:

Step 4: Advanced options


🚫 Already targeted by Novalya


If option is enabled:

  • People already contacted via Novalya on Facebook will not be recontacted**


What is NOT taken into account:

  • Manually sent messages (outside Novalya)
  • Messages sent on Instagram (separate network)


💡 Recommendation: Leave this option enabled to avoid contacting same people multiple times.



💬 People with existing conversation


If option is enabled:

  • People with whom a Messenger conversation already exists will be ignored**


Useful for:

  • Avoiding re-contacting current clients
  • Avoiding re-contacting prospects already in discussion
  • Focusing only on new prospects




Step 5: Add tags


Tags are automatically applied when sending message.


🏷️ Using tags


You can:

  • Select multiple tags** for this campaign
  • Define a main tag


Tag examples:

  • Source: "Paris Entrepreneurs Group"
  • Status: "Cold prospect"
  • Campaign: "Q1 2026 Launch"


💡 Advantage: Tags allow segmenting and tracking your prospects in Novalya CRM.




Confirmation before launch


Before sending, a summary screen displays all your settings:

Once campaign is launched:

FAQ


Can I launch multiple Facebook campaigns at the same time?


No. You can launch one Facebook campaign at a time.


However, you can launch one Facebook campaign AND one Instagram campaign simultaneously (two different networks).


Valid example:

  • ✅ 1 active Facebook campaign + 1 active Instagram campaign


Invalid example:

  • ❌ 2 active Facebook campaigns at same time


Can I modify an ongoing campaign?


No. Once launched, campaign follows configured settings. You can stop campaign, then relaunch with new settings.


What happens if I close Chrome during campaign?


Campaign stops immediately.


For a campaign to work, you must:

  • ✅ Chrome must stay open
  • ✅ Facebook must stay logged in in a tab
  • ✅ Computer must stay on
  • ✅ Disable automatic sleep


Already sent messages stay sent. Unsent messages remain pending. Reopen Chrome for campaign to resume.

Are keyword filters case-sensitive?


No. "CEO", "ceo", "Ceo" are equivalent. Novalya automatically normalizes.


How many tags can I add per campaign?


There's no technical limit. However, to keep your CRM organized, 2-3 tags per campaign are generally sufficient.
