What is the main pipeline?
A contact can be present in multiple pipelines simultaneously.
The main pipeline is used to choose:
- Which pipeline should be considered the main reference
- Which color/label to display as priority in Messenger/Instagram
Where do we see the main pipeline?
The main pipeline is visible in Messenger/Instagram overlay:
- A colored badge or label appears under contact name
- Color corresponds to main pipeline
- Pipeline name can display on hover
Where to change the main pipeline?
In contact profile
- Open contact profile in your CRM
- You'll see list of all pipelines where this contact is located
- Above this list, select main pipeline in dropdown menu
- Change is immediate

The main pipeline allows:
- Keeping clear reading in Messenger/Instagram
- Avoiding confusion if contact belongs to multiple pipelines
- Standardizing your tracking (e.g., always display "Prospects" or "Customers" as main)

Must I necessarily define a main pipeline?
Yes. If a contact is in multiple pipelines, Novalya defines one as main by default (usually first added). You can change it anytime.
What happens if I change the main pipeline?
Only color/label in Messenger changes. Contact stays in all their current pipelines. No data is lost.
Does main pipeline affect CRM campaigns?
No. CRM campaigns target contacts according to pipeline selected in campaign, not according to main pipeline.
If I delete the main pipeline, what happens?
If you delete the pipeline currently defined as main, Novalya will automatically define another pipeline as main (if contact is in other pipelines).
