# How to create a pipeline and choose its color?

# How to create a pipeline and choose its color?

**Reading time:** 2 min

## Create a pipeline in the new Workspace

Select the relevant social account, then open its CRM. Use the pipeline creation command, choose a clear name and a colour if offered, then confirm. Check the displayed stages and adapt them to your process.

A pipeline organizes a contact’s progress; a tag describes that contact. **Pipelines and tags are separate.** Pipelines and stages belong to the selected account; tags are shared at Workspace level. A contact may belong to several pipelines with a stage in each.

## Limits per account

| Tier | Messages per account / month | Pipelines per account | Maximum purchased slots |
|---|---:|---:|---:|
| Starter | 300 | 5 | 5 |
| Pro | 500 | 10 | 10 |
| Business | 700 | 15 | 15 |

Purchased slots and pipelines are separate limits: **a maximum of 5/10/15 slots in the Workspace**, and **5/10/15 pipelines for each account**. A purchased slot may be unconnected.

If you reach the limit, check the selected account and your offer. Ask support about available changes before deleting data.

## Names and colours

Use short names such as “Prospects”, “Customers” or “Follow up”, with a consistent colour scheme. A colour helps organization; it does not create another quota or social-account slot.
