# How do I add a Facebook group in Novalya?

## Quick summary

To prospect from a Facebook group, you must first add the group in Novalya. Members are not imported immediately: the scan happens only when launching the campaign.

## Step 1: Open the Facebook group

📋 Procedure

1. **Go to the Facebook group page** you want to use
   - Open the group in Chrome

2. **Locate the import button**
   - Under the group name, you'll see the button:
   - **"Import members"**

3. **Click the button**
   - A window opens with import options

## Step 2: Choose the type of members to display

A window opens with **two options**:

1️⃣ All members

**Description:**
- Displays all group members
- Access to all available profiles in the group

**When to use:**
- Small groups (< 1000 members)
- Broad prospecting without specific targeting

2️⃣ Members with things in common (Recommended ✅)

**Description:**
- Only displays members who have common elements with you:
  - Mutual friends
  - Similar interests
  - Shared connections

**Why it's recommended:**
- ✅ More targeted prospecting

- ✅ Fewer spam reports

**When to use:**
- Large groups
- First prospecting in a group

**💡 Advantage:** Data stays always up to date. When you launch a campaign, Novalya scans current group members at that moment.

- Join the group first

Scanning happens automatically, you don't have to do anything.

**Can I remove an added group?**

Yes. You can delete a group from your list at any time in Novalya settings.

**Do filters apply during scanning?**

Yes. Filters (gender, keywords, etc.) you configure in your campaign automatically apply during group member scanning.
